Sorry for the avalanche of poems to follow.
You see, they’ve been secreted for years,
but I need to move on – to let them go.
So, as I watch the snow fall, covering the city in white,
I know that when it melts tomorrow, nothing will ever be the same.
I will blog and blog and blog – and see the world in a different light.
The proceeding posts are for my shipmates, for Zara, her dad. And especially
for Basam. All have taught me that in the gamut of human emotions,
there is one common thread. Humanity.
