Such a strong reminder of the past. Great perspective in your photo. We have some old bunkers on the South Coast of England. When I look at them now, not wishing to be pessimistic, I wonder how they were going to help in the case of a big invasion! Just as well we all stayed optimistic!!!!! ;-D

Thanks, Lita. I’m not a great student of history. I didn’t realize Hawaii OR England had bunkers! I always equated these with Normandy. I can see why these two islands (yours and mine) would have them, though. Still, let’s not dwell!
