light showers, heavy writing.
A month of slog begins and nothing motivates me more than an inspirational quote. I don’t think I’m alone in this; so, my fellow writers, I’m sharing with you Rilke’s advice to a young poet (whom I’ve unabashedly usurped in my own mind): “Works of art are of an infinite solitude…Always trust yourself and your own feeling…if it turns out that you are wrong, then the natural growth of your inner life will eventually guide you to other insights.” Let’s silence our inner critics (have super glue, will share!) and get to writing. 😀
