Love it! I have a coffee addiction and I might just have to frame this and hang it in my kitchen, lol.

As I drink my French roast, fair trade, strong cup of coffee with tons of fresh cream I read your haiku and think, yep the world is a wonderful place of kismet and commonplace beauty. Thanks for sharing this with all of us.

I like this. 🙂 Haiku is too simple a form to master with ease (simple does not mean easy!), but I think you’re probably well on your way.

Thanks, Tammy. 🙂 I fear(ed) haiku. So, like a scab, I just keep going at it til someday it won’t be so intimidating.

Very nice. And I love my morning dark and bitter brew. Great cup — nice how we go from bitter and dark to flowery.

Thanks, Silvia! I think that’s how we can stand bitter and dark – because of the flowery, sugary moments. 🙂

Haiku impresses me purely because of it’s brevity! Getting it into the required pattern is just mind-boggling.

Isn’t it crazy that three little lines could be so frustrating? Crazy being the operative word. I was THAT lady on the trolley continuously counting with her fingers. 😀

I need to learn how to write a haiku. I love how precise and descriptive it was written. Enjoyed it!

Thanks! It took me a week to get it right! Never counted so much in my life. 🙂
